Vale of Eternal Blossoms, a zone for max-level players, is the seat of the Pandaren empire. Sealed shut for many years, it's open to travelers for the first time after completing Xuen, the White Tiger's trials, in A Celestial Experience. It is the location of the Alliance and Horde major faction hubs in Pandaria, as well as daily quests with Golden Lotus and The Lorewalkers's archaeology hub, not to mention the dungeon Mogu'shan Palace.
The faction hubs are very elaborate--Blizzard said they wanted them to make Dalaran look simple in comparison, and they achieved that! The faction hubs have all the amenities of major cities, as well as floors dedicated to introducing players to the level-90 Pandaren factions and scenarios with breadcrumb quests.
Reins of the Thundering Ruby Cloud Serpent is a mount from the rare spawn Alani in this zone.
The land contains six sacred pools, which are the lifeblood of the vale. Each of these powerful pools represent a positive emotion and is capable of healing wounds that even the light is not capable of. Only five of the pools can be seen, while the last is found deep within the Mogu'shan Palace.
Each pool corresponds with the negative emotions of the sha: Anger, Despair, Doubt, Fear, Hatred, and Violence. They are the pools of Fellowship, Hope, Faith, Courage, Love, and Peace.
Recently the Bilgewater goblins have begun excavating the Summer Fields in search of an artifact by Garrosh Hellscream's orders. During the dig they destroyed one of the sacred pools.
Later, all of the pools have been corrupted by the Sha of Pride and reformed into an elemental named Immerseus. The eastern part of the Vale is either withering or covered in Sha energy. Mogu'shan Palace was damaged in the process and a hidden entrance to some sort of inner complex was unearthed.
Both factions enter the Vale from Kun-Lai Summit via the Gate of the August Celestials by quest at around level 87. The gate is located in the south-central part of the Summit and opens into the northern part of the Vale via the Golden Stair. the gates will stay open, although after the special quest scene mogu move into the gate area, making it unsafe to travel in if you're lower than level 90, so its a good suggestion to set your Hearthstone on the Local Shrine where you come in, allowing easy transport back to the older parts of the world and flight paths connected to Pandaria.
